Windy Wednesday!

Three years ago I said hello for the first time to my Granddaughter, Lorelei. It is so hard to believe that three years have already gone by. Thank you Lorelei for making me Grammy Whammy!!

I promise you that I will have your birthday present finished by Saturday and your birthday party at Grandma Linda's.

Many of you might wonder what in the world did you do all day that kept you from finishing her sweater? Well, I spent the entire morning searching for another job, and reading up on the company for which I have a interview with tomorrow. For those of you that have searched for employment, you know how trying and time consuming this process can be.

Since I had spent most of my day on the computer, I completed the FASFA for both Erynn and Jared. It is hard to believe that they both will be starting college in the fall.

Christmas 2012

Jared has been accepted into Ferris' HVAC program and Erynn has been accepted at Western, I would like to say I know exactly what it is she is going into, however, all I know is it will be a medical career. Her hard work in high school paid off and she was awarded a $1500 scholarship from Western. Here's hoping that will be the first of many.

For fun today, I ran 5 miles on the DREADMILL :( While it was warm and sunny out, the wind was blowing way to hard for me. Sad, but true.

I also spent some time reading the Bible and a devotional plan by Joyce Meyer. Some of which I would like to share, it was very appropriate considering my morning. Here is one of the paragraphs, "When you have a dream or a vision, you have to keep it in front of you. It helps you to write it down. And remember, God will help you live the dream He's given you, step-by-step, one day at a time." She also talks about learning to enjoy where you are on the way to where you are. I have to admit, this is something I am currently struggling with, but I am continuously reminding myself that God did give me a vision in October of 2011, one that led me to working nights while going to school for Medical Billing and Coding for 9 months, before I completed my externship. During that time I learned to put my trust in Him, that He would get me through times when normally I would have felt anxious and He did. So now I am continuing to trust Him, I have faith that in His time I will get a job working days, doing something that allows me to use both my nursing and billing and coding skills. I believe he has a great plan for my life and trust He will help me live that dream!
 1 Corinthians 2:9 tells me, "What God has planned for people who love Him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered their minds." That said, what dreams/visions has he given you?
